Alix Williams
Chief Operating Officer
Alix’s professional experience comes from the Calgary Winter Club, where she was most recently the Director of Strategy and Experience. Her portfolio included corporate governance, capital investment, and strategic enhancements to member experience. Prior to that, Alix was a marketing and strategy consultant, working with groups across North America, including many start ups.
Alix holds an Executive Master of Business Administration from the Haskayne School of Business (University of Calgary). Together with her husband and three young children, the Williams family are Active Members at the Calgary Winter Club, Bearspaw Golf Club and now, the Eau Claire Athletic Club. Recreationally, Alix is a passionate squash player and enjoys golfing with her husband Lowell.
Jennelle Thomson
Athletics & Recreation Manager
Jennelle suffered a significant back injury in the gym nearly 20 years ago and it was during her recovery that she realized how little she knew about body mechanics or the creation of compensation patterns. This journey to reclaim her strength and range of motion compelled her to become a Certified Personal Trainer. In the years since, she has had the opportunity to work with professional athletes, aspiring youth athletes and everyone in between with varying goals, injuries and medical conditions.
Jennelle’s passion spurred her to begin managing trainers so that her knowledge and pursuit of health and fitness would have a greater impact on her community. Jennelle’s role as Athletics and Recreation Manager is to help you become the healthiest version of yourself and learn how to maintain it for your lifetime.

Jessie is a competitive show jumper with a distinguished career, achieving top finishes at national and international levels. With over a decade of experience, Jessie has earned a reputation for excellence, precision, and dedication.
Currently serving as the Operations and Administration Coordinator at the Eau Claire Athletic Club, Jessie leverages her high-performance sports background to enhance the Club’s operations. Her passion for fitness and wellness, combined with her equestrian expertise, ensures a dynamic and welcoming environment for all Club members.
